Job summary

Learning Care Group in Texas is hiring a Team Lead to guide preschool classrooms, implement curriculum, and promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of every child. You will lead on classroom instruction, which is at least 50% of the weekly schedule, and partner with families to support student outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience in a licensed childcare facility, leading a classroom, and implementing lesson plans.
• College credits towards Early Childhood Education or Child Development degree or a CDA, preferred.
• The ability to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience.
• Able to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

Responsibilities

• Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children in your care and take the lead on classroom management.
• Lead curriculum implementation and ensure classroom instruction is at least 50% of the weekly schedule.
• Communicate and build relationships with families to promote achievement for the child and support center success.
• Mentor and train new hires and fellow Teachers, creating fun, interactive learning experiences.
• Take on duties of Director or Assistant Director in their absence, including opening and closing the school.
• Ensure daily care of every child by following licensing guidelines and company standards.
