Learning Care Group is hiring a Team Lead at a Rowlett-based child care center. You will promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of children, lead classroom management, and implement curriculum with support from the team.

You’ll communicate with families to promote child progress, mentor new hires, and step in for Director duties when needed. Join a positive, caring workplace that values growth and play.

Qualifications

• Experience in a licensed childcare facility, leading a classroom, and implementing lesson plans.
• College credits toward Early Childhood Education or Child Development degree or a CDA, preferred.
• The ability to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience.
• Able to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

Responsibilities

• Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children in your care and lead classroom management and curriculum implementation.
• Communicate and build relationships with families to support the child’s progress and the center’s success.
• Mentor and train new hires and fellow teachers, creating engaging learning experiences for preschool children.
• Take on duties of Director or Assistant Director in their absence, including opening and closing the school.
• Ensure daily care of every child by following licensing guidelines and company standards.
