Job summary

Airbus Aerosystems Kinston is seeking a professional to lead a GMF assembly team, oversee the integration of subassemblies, and ensure products meet stringent requirements for customers. The role emphasizes teamwork, problem solving, and effective communication in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The candidate should have a minimum of 5 years in manufacturing leadership, experience with cross-functional groups, and a Bachelor Degree or equivalent experience.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience leading cross-functional groups (Quality, Assembly, Procurement, Supply Chain, Machining, etc.).
• Bachelor degree required; or 4 years of related experience.
• Experience using SAP and MS Office is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead team in GMF assembly area assembling complex aerostructures to meet production requirements and customer acceptance.
• Lead team in developing solutions to complex problems which require ingenuity and creativity.
• Interfaces with engineering, management, suppliers, and customers to meet product requirements and customer acceptance.
• Other duties as assigned.
