Job summary

Airbus Aerosystems Kinston, Inc. is seeking an Assembly First Level Manager in Kinston, NC.

You will oversee the manufacture of completed units, directing assembly, integration, and testing of aerostructures while coordinating with engineering, management, suppliers, and customers to ensure specifications and acceptance. The role requires 5+ years in manufacturing with leadership experience, strong English communication, and the ability to travel domestically and internationally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 4 years of experience in manufacturing.
• At least 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience leading cross-functional groups (Quality, Assembly, Procurement, Supply Chain, etc.).
• At least 5 years in a leadership/management role.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (5 trips).
• US Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Lead team in developing solutions to complex problems.
• Lead a team of represented employees in the GMF assembly area to meet production requirements.
• Oversee assembly and testing of subassemblies and systems to meet product requirements.
• Interface with engineering, management, suppliers, and customers to meet product requirements and customer acceptance.
• Other duties as assigned.
