Airbus Aerosystems Kinston, Inc. is seeking a Professional Manufacturing Engineer to lead the NCP team at the Kinston site.

You will drive manufacturing technology deployment, Lean improvements and risk management while coordinating with senior stakeholders in a dynamic industrial environment. The role focuses on establishing advanced industrial systems, continuous improvement, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver efficient plant operations and high-quality aircraft components.

Qualifications

• ABET engineering degree or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years in Manufacturing Engineering with Lean knowledge.
• Experience with metallic and composite manufacturing and assembly.
• Strong communication with internal/external stakeholders.
• Knowledge of FAA, EASA and ICAO preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manufacturing technology: implement up-to-date numerical control programs; deploy and improve ME-industrial systems in Kinston.
• Continuous Improvement: identify opportunities and ensure ME team uses CI tools.
• Risk Management: identify risks and develop mitigation plans, including rate capability.
• Additional Responsibilities: promote customer-focused mindset and lead change; ensure standards for Aircraft and MOD configuration; define assembly strategies and tools.
