Job summary

Forest View Manor is seeking a Team Lead for 2nd shift to supervise staff, coordinate daily activities, and ensure high‑quality resident care. You will mentor teammates, manage tasks, and support on-site operations in a compassionate, safety‑minded environment.

The role emphasizes caregiving excellence, effective communication with care teams, and adherence to safety standards while providing personal care and assistance to residents.

Qualifications

• Previous lead experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills and compassionate attitude towards seniors.
• CBRF Certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, supervise and provide support to staff with any daily questions.
• Provide personal care to residents, including assistance with bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Administer medication as directed.
• Assist residents with mobility and transfers, ensuring their safety and comfort.
• Engage residents in social and recreational activities to promote mental and emotional well-being.
• Monitor residents’ health and report any changes to the appropriate staff.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of resident care and activities.
• Perform light housekeeping.
• Communicate with Care Teams.
• Order medications from pharmacy and complete monthly medication check in.
• Train and mentor new and current staff.
• Participate in the company On-Call.
• Previous experience in caregiving or healthcare preferred.
• CBRF Certifications preferred.
• Previous lead experience, preferred.
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate attitude towards seniors.
• Ability to lift and move safely as required.

• Availability to work 2nd shift hours (3pm - 11pm), including every other weekend and holiday.
