Job summary

Forest View Manor is seeking a Team Lead for 1st shift to supervise staff, provide resident care, and ensure safety and compassion in daily operations.

You will oversee medication administration, mobility assistance, and engagement in activities while mentoring teammates and coordinating with care teams. A background in caregiving and leadership is valued; CBRF certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in caregiving or healthcare preferred.
• CBRF certifications preferred.
• Previous lead experience preferred.
• Strong communication and compassion for seniors required.
• Ability to lift and move safely as required.
• Pass background check and meet safety standards.
• Available for 7am–3pm shifts, every other weekend/holiday.
• Willing to participate in monthly on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, supervise and provide support to staff with daily questions.
• Provide personal care to residents, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Administer medication as directed.
• Assist residents with mobility and transfers, ensuring safety and comfort.
• Engage residents in social and recreational activities to promote well-being.
• Monitor residents' health and report changes to the appropriate staff.
• Maintain accurate records of resident care and activities.
• Perform light housekeeping.
• Communicate with Care Teams.
• Order medications from pharmacy and complete monthly medication check.
• Train and mentor new and current staff.
• Participate in the On-Call rotation.
• Must pass background check.
