Job summary

Community Interactions, Inc. is seeking a Team Facilitator to supervise Direct Support Professionals and coordinate daily operations for a sub-cluster of residences.

You will manage staffing, payroll, and vehicle maintenance while partnering with program staff to ensure high-quality services. The role requires prior supervisory experience in IDD or MH settings and a Bachelor’s in a related field is desirable.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services desirable but not required.
  • Minimum four years work experience in IDD and/or MH.
  • Minimum four years supervisory experience in Residential Programs.

Responsibilities

  • Manage staffing coverage and schedules.
  • Oversee payroll for direct reports and provide supervision.
  • Coordinate vehicle maintenance and housing-related logistics.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance across sub-cluster residences.
  • Lead staff meetings and coordinate ISP/team meetings.
  • Complete weekly census, petty cash audits, and monthly financial reviews.
  • Support medical appointment documentation with Health & Wellness staff.

Job description

The Team Facilitator works under the supervision of and in collaboration of the Associate Director, Program Specialist and the Cluster Team Members to assure effective and efficient management of the daily logistical operations for an assigned sub-cluster of residences. The Team Facilitator manages staffing coverage and schedules, payroll functions, maintenance and vehicle management, petty cash and other daily operational functions. The Team facilitator partners with the Cluster’s Program Specialist to co-manage an assigned sub-cluster of residences and supervise Direct Support Professionals.Summary of Responsibilities:Ensures Quality Assurance visits to Residential Programs to include weekends and hours outside of 9am to 5pm on weekdays;Develops and maintains staffing schedules, monitors and approves payroll for all direct reports and provides supportive supervision to the cluster’s Lead Staff, assigned sub-cluster’s and Direct Support Professionals;Supports and may co-facilitate monthly staff meetings with the Senior Team Leader and Program Specialist for all assigned homes in the sub-cluster. Co-manages with the Program Specialist the recruitment, interviewing and orientation processes for their assigned sub-cluster;Completes and submits the weekly census reports, weekly audits of petty cash and submits petty cash reports;Completes monthly audits for all Individuals’ personal finances and monitors individual’s funds on a weekly basis. Assures that all scheduled payments are made to burial accounts and pooled trust accounts;Manages the vehicle maintenance and monitoring functions for the cluster. Completes maintenance requests for the sub-cluster;Coordinates all staff training, meetings and ensure regulatory compliance;Completes Weekly Medication Inspections for all assigned homes, coordinates the Monthly Cycle Medication change and inspections and completes the MAR Reviews and Practicum observations as assigned;Participates in ISP and other Team Meetings. Coordinates and attends cluster team meetings with other managers. Collaborates with the Health and Wellness Administrator on staffing and documenting medical appointments;Maintains effective working relationships with peers, supervisors and direct reports by encouraging and modeling professional interactions that reflect accountability, trust and respect;Sustains an organizational culture of integrity that promotes direct and open communication, participation in decision-making, transparency in operations, and encouragement of appropriate discretionary judgment and innovative ideas and solutions;Strong presentation skills, interpersonal, problem solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team. Supports the ongoing initiatives of Programs and Services;Able to meet both the physical and essential requirements of the position as outlined in the job description.Qualifications:Minimum qualifications include:Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services or related field desirable but not required as a condition of employment. Minimum four years work experience in the field of IDD and/or MH. Minimum four (4) years supervisory experience, preferably in Residential Programs, supporting the needs of adults with IDD or MH. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple Residential Programs, including both the personal and operational needs of adults living both independent and in shared living arrangements. Successful candidates may be required to transport individuals in their personal vehicle. Incumbents are responsible to ensure a valid driver’s license and their vehicle meet the State’s minimum requirements for maintaining valid automobile insurance and current vehicle registration.Interested candidates in this or other positions can apply online for employment opportunities.
