Job summary

Community Servings in Jamaica Plain, MA is seeking a TK Program Manager to oversee the Teaching Kitchen workforce development program, supervising staff and coordinating with Nutrition Services, Production Kitchen, and Delivery to ensure excellent participant outcomes.

Reporting to the Chief Program Officer, the role ensures program goals, compliance, and community partnerships to expand job opportunities for graduates. The ideal candidate has leadership experience and grants management skills.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership and staff management experience.
• Experience working with individuals facing employment barriers.
• Strong interpersonal, coaching, conflict resolution, and relationship-building skills.
• Experience developing partnerships with employers, community organizations, and workforce development agencies.
• Experience managing programs, grants, contracts, or community-based initiatives.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Salesforce, Zoom, and other workplace technologies.
• Bilingual skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage the daily operations of the Teaching Kitchen program to ensure high-quality service delivery and participant success.
• Implement program goals, initiatives, and operational plans with the CPO.
• Monitor program performance and participant outcomes to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Supervise program staff and foster a positive, collaborative team culture.
• Coordinate participant orientations, graduations, and other program activities.
• Monitor budgets and expenditures with the Finance Department.
