Job summary

Project HOME is seeking a Kitchen Coordinator to support residents through nutritious meal services and skill development. You will oversee daily kitchen operations, plan menus, manage inventory, and ensure sanitation compliance in collaboration with vendors and partners.

Responsibilities include developing dietary menus, budget-conscious purchasing, and guiding residents in cooking and meal preparation in a safe, supportive environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 3 years cooking for large groups or in institutional settings.
• SERVSafe Managerial Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and prepare balanced meals for 21 weekly meals and snacks with site team.
• Develop menus for dietary needs (vegetarian, diabetic, low sodium, renal).
• Ensure health and safety standards and manage inspections.
• Order and track inventory within the annual budget and document purchases.
• Supervise residents in kitchen to build independent living skills.
