The Lampe UNC-NCSU Joint Department of Biomedical Engineering stresses the application of science and engineering, mathematical analysis, and computer techniques to biomedical problems. The Lampe UNC/NC State Joint Department of Biomedical Engineering is seeking applicants for a Teaching Assistant / Associate Professor in any area related to department specializations with priority given to bioinstrumentation, biomechanics and biologics-based design. This is a professional track faculty position with a focus on teaching and education. Responsibilities include but not limited to:
This position will conduct service in areas of need. This may include mentoring junior faculty, mentoring students or student organizations, developing study abroad programs, participating in assessment activities, curriculum development and/or academic advising.
PhD in Biomedical Engineering, or related field. For an Associate level, a minimum of six consecutive years of full-time service as a Teaching Assistant Professor (or equivalent) along with documented evidence of distinguished teaching and service is required.
