Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution.
• Prior teaching experience in a K-12 setting and/or higher education.
• Knowledge of effective teaching practices, strategies, classroom management, lesson planning, student engagement, and assessment.
• Ability to teach and facilitate learning for adult learners from diverse backgrounds.
• Strong written and verbal communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to translate K-12 experience into adult/postsecondary learning contexts.

Responsibilities

• Deliver classroom, online, and hybrid instruction in Effective Teacher Training topics.
• Develop engaging lesson plans aligned with course objectives.
• Model instructional strategies applicable to participants’ teaching environments.
• Provide practical examples from K-12 experience for adult learners.
• Facilitate discussions and collaborative activities; evaluate learning.
• Offer timely feedback and guide participant progress.
• Maintain attendance, grades, and records; promote professionalism and inclusivity.
