Job summary

McHenry County College seeks an Instructional Technologist to advance academic technology use and LMS management across in-person, hybrid, and online courses. You will collaborate with faculty to design, implement, and train on instructional technology to ensure effective teaching and high-quality educational experiences.

You will develop and deliver AV/software trainings, oversee CTL resources, and promote inclusive digital content.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Instructional Technology or related field, or equivalent experience in educational technology.
• At least 1 year of LMS administration experience and higher education teaching or training.

Responsibilities

• Oversee LMS administration and CTL platform maintenance.
• Research best practices for LMS and academic technology in teaching and learning.
• Conduct program/software evaluations and recommend new instructional technologies.
• Develop and deliver workshops; coordinate logistics for trainings and events.
• Ensure digital content is accessible and inclusive for all users.
