Celebree Learning Centers is seeking dedicated staff to support our Celebree Schools in Maryland. You will help ensure a safe, engaging classroom environment and assist with implementing our curriculum and activities for children.

Your role supports families through regular communication and updates on child progress. We offer a range of benefits and professional growth opportunities as part of a full-time role with 30+ hours per week, designed to help you develop skills and advance within the

• Experience in child care industry preferred.
• Ability to create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing classroom following regulations and policies.
• Provide a welcoming classroom environment for children, parents, and visitors.
• Help maintain attractive displays and Parent Board updated regularly.
• Assist in creating timely, age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with curriculum.
• Support effective classroom transitions and supervision of children.
• Communicate with parents, greet by name and provide updates on development.
• Identify opportunities or problems and work with Lead teacher to resolve.

Essential Functions:

• Assists in managing classroom ensuring compliance with all regulations, company standards, policies and procedures.
• Provides a welcoming & friendly classroom environment for children, parents & visitors.
• Assists in maintaining attractive and current classroom/hallway displays and an educational and informative Parent Board that is updated regularly.
• Assists in creating and implementing thorough, timely lesson plans that are age appropriate and stimulating in accordance with Celebree’s curriculum;
• Assists in managing effective classroom transitions.
• Assists and supervises children during all activities; counsel children as needed using positive and appropriate discipline techniques.
• Ensures that appearance, cleanliness and safe environment of classroom is appropriately maintained.
• Assists in completing all classroom paperwork
• Communicates effectively with parents, e.g., greeting by name, addressing concerns in a timely manner, giving positive feedback, and providing regular updates on their child’s development and classroom happenings.
• Identifies opportunities and/or problems in the classroom/School and works with the Lead teacher and Director to resolve.

Education/Experience: Experience in child care industry preferred.
