Celebree Schools is seeking a full-time educator to join our classroom team in Bear, DE. You will assist in managing a safe, engaging environment and support lesson delivery aligned with Celebree’s curriculum.

Responsibilities

• Assists in managing classroom ensuring compliance with regulations and company standards.
• Provides a welcoming and friendly classroom environment for children, parents and visitors.
• Maintains educational displays and updates Parent Board with information.
• Assists in creating and implementing engaging lesson plans aligned with Celebree curriculum.
• Assists with classroom transitions and supervision during activities.
• Communicates with parents about their child’s development and classroom happenings.
• Identifies opportunities to improve classroom operations and collaborates with Lead teacher and Director.

Essential Functions:

• Assists in managing classroom ensuring compliance with all regulations, company standards, policies and procedures.
• Provides a welcoming & friendly classroom environment for children, parents & visitors.
• Assists in maintaining attractive and current classroom/hallway displays and an educational and informative Parent Board that is updated regularly.
• Assists in creating and implementing thorough, timely lesson plans that are age appropriate and stimulating in accordance with Celebree’s curriculum;
• Assists in managing effective classroom transitions.
• Assists and supervises children during all activities; counsel children as needed using positive and appropriate discipline techniques.
• Ensures that appearance, cleanliness and safe environment of classroom is appropriately maintained.
• Assists in completing all classroom paperwork
• Communicates effectively with parents, e.g., greeting by name, addressing concerns in a timely manner, giving positive feedback, and providing regular updates on their child’s development and classroom happenings.
• Identifies opportunities and/or problems in the classroom/School and works with the Lead teacher and Director to resolve.

Requirements

Education/Experience: Experience in child care industry preferred
