Celebree Schools is hiring for full-time classroom roles in our child care program. Our mission is to protect, educate, and nurture children while supporting staff growth.

• Experience in child care industry preferred.
• Ability to maintain a welcoming classroom environment for children and parents.
• Ability to communicate effectively with parents and staff.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing classroom ensuring regulatory and policy compliance.
• Provide a welcoming and friendly classroom environment for children, parents and visitors.
• Assist in maintaining displays and Parent Board updated regularly.
• Assist in creating and implementing timely lesson plans that are age appropriate and stimulating.
• Assist in managing effective classroom transitions.
• Supervise children during activities; use positive discipline techniques as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in the classroom.
• Complete classroom paperwork.
• Communicate with parents with updates on development and happenings.
• Identify opportunities or problems and collaborate with Lead teacher and Director to resolve.

Essential Functions:

• Assists in managing classroom ensuring compliance with all regulations, company standards, policies and procedures.
• Provides a welcoming & friendly classroom environment for children, parents & visitors.
• Assists in maintaining attractive and current classroom/hallway displays and an educational and informative Parent Board that is updated regularly.
• Assists in creating and implementing thorough, timely lesson plans that are age appropriate and stimulating in accordance with Celebree’s curriculum;
• Assists in managing effective classroom transitions.
• Assists and supervises children during all activities; counsel children as needed using positive and appropriate discipline techniques.
• Ensures that appearance, cleanliness and safe environment of classroom is appropriately maintained.
• Assists in completing all classroom paperwork
• Communicates effectively with parents, e.g., greeting by name, addressing concerns in a timely manner, giving positive feedback, and providing regular updates on their child’s development and classroom happenings.
• Identifies opportunities and/or problems in the classroom/School and works with the Lead teacher and Director to resolve.

Requirements

Education/Experience: Experience in child care industry preferred
