Celebree School is seeking a dedicated full-time early childhood educator to support classroom management and deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned lessons. You will help create a welcoming environment for children, families, and visitors while maintaining classroom displays and parent communications.

Responsibilities include planning age-appropriate activities, supervising children during activities, and applying positive discipline techniques to foster growth and safety.

Qualifications

• Experience in child care industry preferred.
• Ability to maintain a welcoming classroom and engage children.
• Comfort with communicating with parents and staff.

Essential Functions:

• Assists in managing classroom ensuring compliance with all regulations, company standards, policies and procedures.
• Provides a welcoming & friendly classroom environment for children, parents & visitors.
• Assists in maintaining attractive and current classroom/hallway displays and an educational and informative Parent Board that is updated regularly.
• Assists in creating and implementing thorough, timely lesson plans that are age appropriate and stimulating in accordance with Celebree’s curriculum;
• Assists in managing effective classroom transitions.
• Assists and supervises children during all activities; counsel children as needed using positive and appropriate discipline techniques.
• Ensures that appearance, cleanliness and safe environment of classroom is appropriately maintained.
• Assists in completing all classroom paperwork
• Communicates effectively with parents, e.g., greeting by name, addressing concerns in a timely manner, giving positive feedback, and providing regular updates on their child’s development and classroom happenings.
• Identifies opportunities and/or problems in the classroom/School and works with the Lead teacher and Director to resolve.

Requirements

Education/Experience: Experience in child care industry preferred.
