Ohio Head Start Association, Inc. seeks a part-year Teacher to implement Head Start preschool activities in Indian Lake, Lewistown, OH.

You will work with the Head Teacher and families to create engaging learning experiences, prepare materials, and ensure a safe classroom environment. Responsibilities include collaboration with the classroom team, daily routines, screenings, and family engagement activities.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED with a CDA or enrolled in CDA program.
• Associate’s degree or higher in Early Childhood Education preferred.
• Ability to lift 40 pounds and perform physical tasks.
• Valid driver’s license and driving history acceptable to agency insurer.
• No prior work experience required.

• Collaborate with the Early Childhood Service Coordinator, Head Teacher, Family Advocate, and families to plan and implement the Head Start educational program for preschool children.
• Team with the Head Teacher in center classroom with daily operations, working with children and parents.

CORS pays for educational advancement for motivated individuals with a heart for service.Description: Collaborate with the Early Childhood Service Coordinator, Head Teacher, Family Advocate, and families, to plan and implement the Head Start educational program for preschool children to prepare them for kindergarten and beyond. Education and Training: High school diploma or GED with a CDA or equivalent; or agree to be enrolled in a CORS approved and paid accredited Child Development (CDA) program and achieve completion of CDA program within two years of start date. Associate’s degree or higher in Early Childhood Education preferred.2. Work Experience Required: None.3. Special Conditions: Ability to lift 40 pounds, stoop, bend, and reach. A valid driver’s license and a driving history acceptable to agency insurer. Involves extensive organizing, problem solving, record keeping, and time management.
