Paycom - ATS is seeking a Part-Year Teacher in Bellefontaine, OH to support the Head Start program. The role involves planning and implementing activities for preschool children, coordinating with the Head Teacher and families, and ensuring a safe, engaging learning environment.

• High school diploma or GED with a CDA or equivalent; or enrolled in CDA program and complete within two years.
• Associate’s degree or higher in Early Childhood Education preferred.
• Ability to lift 40 pounds, stoop, bend, and reach.
• A valid driver’s license and driving history acceptable to insurer.
• Involves organizing, problem solving, record keeping, and time management.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement the Head Start educational program for preschool children to prepare them for kindergarten and beyond.
• Collaborate with the Head Teacher, Family Advocate, and families in daily classroom operations.
• Prepare the learning environment, gather materials, manage daily routines, and supervise activities.
• Ensure child safety with proper supervision and a healthy, sanitary learning environment.
• Support activities that promote development and family engagement throughout the program year.
• Complete home visits, plans, and parent/teacher conferences when requested.

Education

CORS pays for educational advancement for motivated individuals with a heart for service. With an Associate’s Degree or higher, you are eligible for Head Teacher openings, with a range of $22.24-$26.08 hourly.Description: Collaborate with the Early Childhood Service Coordinator, Head Teacher, Family Advocate, and families, to plan and implement the Head Start educational program for preschool children to prepare them for kindergarten and beyond.
