Summary

The purpose of the Literacy Implementation TOSA is to assist in the implementation of foundational literacy curriculum. The position will be project based with the goal of ensuring READ Act requirements and state assessments are successfully implemented.

Responsibilities

Assist in the district implementation of READ Act:

• Reports to the Directors of Elementary and Secondary Education
• Facilitate curriculum development for elementary literacy
• Provide professional development and coaching for literacy and reading instructions
• Support teachers with achievement data collection and analysis

Key Projects

• Implementation of K-5 CAREIALL training
• Implementation of 6-12 STRIVE training
• Support for K-12 assessment and curriculum alignment
• Facilitate reading and literacy professional development
• Perform other duties as assigned
