Position Summary

FTE: 1.0 Days: 184 duty days with a flex schedule for additional training and meetings. The position will require a commitment to after school professional development . Compensation: Burnsville Education Association Contract

Summary

• The purpose of the Literacy Implementation TOSA is to assist in the implementation of foundational literacy curriculum.
• The position will be project based with the goal of ensuring READ Act requirements and state assessments are successfully implemented.

Education/Experience

Essential Job Functions

Responsibilities

Assist in the district implementation of READ Act:

• Reports to the Directors of Elementary and Secondary Education

Qualifications

• Experience implementing effective instruction

• Understanding of MN ELA Standards and Science of Reading
• Ability to project manage and facilitate effective professional development for adults
