Job summary

Western Illinois University in Macomb, IL seeks an Office Manager for the Center for Preparation of Education Professionals. You will track licensure processes, respond to inquiries about teacher education programs, student teaching, degree completion, and licensure, and assist with reporting for state audits.

You will coordinate teacher licensure intake, manage budgets for conferences, travel, and supplies, and support pre-clinical and internship experiences.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Two (2) years of work experience comparable to a specific Illinois classification.

Responsibilities

• Tracks licensure processes and ensures data is available for state/university reports.
• Responds to phone calls, office visits, email and inquiries related to teacher education programs, student teaching, degree completion, and licensure from local, national, and international sources.
• Assists with creation of reports for internal review and state auditing (including Title II, APR, and PEDS).
• Serves as the teacher licensure intake coordinator, processing reports for pre-clinical, clinical, practicum and internship experiences for teacher education.
• Oversees and maintains the Office of Teacher Education budgets for conferences, travel, supplies, equipment, maintenance, and fund deposits.
