Job summary

Greater Philadelphia YMCA is seeking an enthusiastic full-time hourly caregiver to nurture learning in a vibrant community setting. You will engage kids with fun, age-appropriate activities and collaborate closely with families to support development.

Applicants should have a degree in education or human services and at least 2 years (2500 hours) of childcare experience. A supportive team and meaningful community impact await you.

• Planning and implementing dynamic curricula to ensure fun, child-centered, and age-appropriate lessons are offered.
• Supervising each child to SEE, HEAR, DIRECT and ASSIST, ensuring a safe environment.
• Upholding YMCA, State, and Quality Rating Systems policies for quality childcare.
• Maintaining a healthy environment through light cleaning and supporting routines.

What is needed for this job:

• Proof of an achieved degree from an accredited college or university in education or human services related field as defined by the appropriate state licensing agency.
• 2 plus years (2500 Hours) childcare experience
