Job summary

Greater Philadelphia YMCA is seeking a part-time childcare teacher in Franklinville, PA. You will create engaging, age-appropriate lessons and connect with families while maintaining a safe, supportive learning environment.

Requirements include a degree in education or human services and at least 2 years (2500 hours) of childcare experience. Join a nonprofit team committed to community impact and opportunities for growth.

• Planning and implementing dynamic curricula to ensure fun, child-centered, and age-appropriate lessons are offered.
• Supervising each child in your care by identifying, SEE, HEAR, DIRECT and ASSIST, always ensuring a safe environment.
• Upholding all YMCA, State, and Quality Rating Systems policies and guidelines for overall commitment to quality in childcare.

What is needed for this job:

• Proof of an achieved degree from an accredited college or university in education or human services related field as defined by the appropriate state licensing agency.
• 2 plus years (2500 Hours) childcare experience
