Job summary

Greater Philadelphia YMCA in Wilmer, PA is seeking a Full Time, Hourly Childcare Teacher. You will nurture young learners, connect with families, and help children learn through engaging activities.

• Minimum 2 years (2500 hours) childcare experience.

What is needed for this job:

• Proof of an achieved degree from an accredited college or university in education or human services related field as defined by the appropriate state licensing agency.
• 2 plus years (2500 Hours) childcare experience

• Supervising each child in your care by being able to identify, SEE, HEAR, DIRECT and ASSIST, always ensuring a safe environment.
• Upholding all YMCA, State, and Quality Rating Systems policies and guidelines for overall commitment to quality in childcare.
• Maintaining a healthy environment through light cleaning and supporting personal care routines of the children.
