Apple Montessori Schools in Shrewsbury, NJ is seeking a part-time Teacher Assistant for Infant and Toddler classrooms. You will work 1pm–6:30pm, closely with Lead Teachers to support children in a Montessori setting, fostering independence, curiosity, and social development.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED and CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain). The role emphasizes safety, clear family communication, and positive engagement with students, with benefits

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain upon hire.
• Love of children and ability to kneel, bend, squat, lift, push, pull and carry children.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Teacher Assistant Infant, Toddler

Location: Shrewsbury, NJ

Hours: Monday to Friday, 1pm to 6:30pm

As a Teacher Assistant at Apple Montessori Schools, you'll have the opportunity to turn your passion for working with children into a meaningful career in Early Childhood Education. You will work closely with Lead Teachers to support children as they explore, grow, and build independence in a nurturing Montessori environment. Our Teacher Assistants provide warmth, encouragement, and guidance as children try new experiences, form friendships, and develop confidence and curiosity.

As a member of our teaching team, some of your responsibilities will include:

• Ensure a safe, clean, and engaging learning environment for all students
• Collaborate with the Lead Teacher to support and implement lesson plans
• Maintain accurate student records and assist with family communication
• Encourage positive self-image while supporting individuality, independence, and creativity
