Apple Montessori Schools in Mahwah, NJ is seeking a Teacher Assistant for Infant and Toddler shifts, offering mornings or late afternoons. You will support Lead Teachers and help children explore and grow in a nurturing Montessori setting.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, CPR/First Aid or willingness to obtain, and a love of children. The role emphasizes safety, communication, and teamwork, with benefits and PTO available.

Formación

• CPR / First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain upon hire.
• A genuine love of children.
• Physically able to kneel, bend, squat, lift, push, pull, and carry children.
• Understanding health and safety guidelines.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Teacher Assistant Infant and Toddler

Location: Mahwah, NJ

Hours: Monday to Friday, Various Shifts Available!

8:00am - 1:00pm OR 3:00pm - 6:30pm

As a Teacher Assistant at Apple Montessori Schools, you'll have the opportunity to turn your passion for working with children into a meaningful career in Early Childhood Education. You will work closely with Lead Teachers to support children as they explore, grow, and build independence in a nurturing Montessori environment. Our Teacher Assistants provide warmth, encouragement, and guidance as children try new experiences, form friendships, and develop confidence and curiosity.
