Job summary

Apple Montessori Schools in Shrewsbury, NJ is seeking a Teacher Assistant for Infant and Preschool classrooms. Hours are 8:00am–1:00pm or 1:00pm–6:30pm, Monday to Friday, to help children explore, grow, and build independence in a nurturing Montessori setting.

You will work with Lead Teachers to support lesson plans, maintain student records, and communicate with families while fostering a warm, inclusive classroom where children develop confidence and curiosity.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CPR / First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain upon hire.
• A genuine love of children.
• Physically able to kneel, bend, squat, lift, push, pull, and carry children.
• Ability to multi-task in a changing environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Teacher Assistant Infant & Preschool classrooms

Location: Shrewsbury, NJ

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 1:00pm OR 1:00pm to 6:30pm

As a Teacher Assistant at Apple Montessori Schools, you'll have the opportunity to turn your passion for working with children into a meaningful career in Early Childhood Education. You will work closely with Lead Teachers to support children as they explore, grow, and build independence in a nurturing Montessori environment.
