Apple Montessori Schools in Westfield, NJ is seeking a Teacher Assistant for Infant programs. You will work with Lead Teachers to support children as they explore, grow, and build independence in a nurturing Montessori setting.

Responsibilities include maintaining a safe, engaging classroom, assisting with lesson plans, and communicating with families. Requires a High School Diploma or GED, CPR/First Aid, and a love of children; ability to kneel, bend, lift, and multi-task is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain upon hire.
• A genuine love of children.
• Physically able to kneel, bend, squat, lift, push, pull, and carry children.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 1:00pm OR 1:00pm to 6:30pm

Teacher Assistant Infant

As a Teacher Assistant at Apple Montessori Schools, you’ll have the opportunity to turn your passion for working with children into a meaningful career in Early Childhood Education. You will work closely with Lead Teachers to support children as they explore, grow, and build independence in a nurturing Montessori environment. Our Teacher Assistants provide warmth, encouragement, and guidance as children try new experiences, form friendships, and develop confidence and curiosity.
