Job summary

Bally’s Corporation in Chicago, IL seeks dedicated team members to support kitchen operations and guest service. You will help create a fun, entertaining atmosphere that aligns with the Bally’s Born to Entertain philosophy and promote a guest-centric culture.

Responsibilities include maintaining clean work areas, stocking supplies, following sanitation guidelines, and assisting with front and heart of house cleanliness.

Qualifications

• Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license issued by the Illinois Gaming Board.
• Six months or more related experience.
• Open work availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

• Enthusiastically promote Bally’s customer-centric culture of superior guest service and building guest relations.
• Maintains a neat and sanitary appearance of assigned work area, serving utensils and equipment.
• Retrieving necessary supplies for the operational day of the kitchen (chemicals, gloves, towels, etc.).
• Cleaning all hand washing sinks located in the TDR and restocks with soap and paper towels.
• Maintains work area in a safe condition, taking care of spills and other hazards as necessary.
• Sweeping and mopping floors.
• Washing tables, walls, refrigerators, etc.
• Removing trash and garbage and placing it in designated containers.
• Steam cleaning or hosing out garbage cans.
• Transferring supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
• Following sanitation and safety guidelines.
• Assisting with the cleanliness of the property Front and Heart of House.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education

High School diploma or equivalent

Compensation:

• Target Salary Range: $26.50/hr

Physical Demands & Work Environment:

• Frequently lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
• Stand and walk for extended periods during scheduled shifts.
• Frequently bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and perform repetitive motions.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with varying noise levels, bright lights, large crowds, and high-volume guest interaction.
• Must be able to effectively communicate with guests, Team Members, and leadership while maintaining a professional and positive demeanor.
