Job summary

The Texas Department of Criminal Justice seeks a Parole Officer IV - Parole Supervisor to supervise parole field operations and ensure compliance with agency policies.

Applicants must hold a valid Texas driver's license, meet TRAS access eligibility, and obtain TLETS training within 6 months of hire; a Pre-Service Training Academy is required. This is a hazardous duty position with limited day trips; military preference documents may be requested.

  Must meet and maintain Texas Risk Assessment System (TRAS) access eligibility.
  Must have or be able to obtain a certificate of course completion for the Texas Law Enforcement Telecommunications System (TLETS) policy and procedure training from the Texas Department of Public Safety within 6 months of employment date.
