Job summary

• Job Duties:In this role, you'll supervise floor maintenance, construction, and repair projects across state facilities. You'll plan, assign, inspect, and prioritize daily tasks for maintenance staff while coordinating projects with other supervisors to make sure resources are used efficiently. You'll prepare project estimates, order materials, and keep accurate reports and repair records. You'll also train and supervise maintenance workers and ensure all safety standards are followed throughout each project.You'd be a GOOD fit if:You have at least six years of experience in floorcovering installation, repair, or removal, along with experience leading or supervising maintenance crews. You can read blueprints, plans, and specifications, stay organized, communicate clearly, keep accurate records, and manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines.You'd be a GREAT fit if:You have supervisory experience in a large facilities or construction environment, along with the ability to estimate labor, materials, and project costs. You bring strong skills in flooring systems, construction methods, and maintenance standards, and have experience training employees or inmate work crews. You also have hands-on experience in carpentry, welding, and sheet metal work, making you well-rounded across multiple maintenance and construction areas
