Job summary

EY is seeking a TBM Office Lead to drive adoption of Apptio, optimize IT investments, and enable data-driven decision-making across IT and finance. You will act as product owner and change agent, championing transparency and accountability in technology financial management.

You will lead TBM deployment, collaborate with IT, finance, and business offices, and deliver actionable insights via Apptio dashboards for executives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Finance, Business Administration, or related field; master’s preferred.
• Experience in project management, process improvement, and technology portfolio optimization.
• Strategic thinking to align technology investments with organizational objectives.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities across IT, finance, and business units.

Responsibilities

• Lead the TBM Office, overseeing the deployment and ongoing management of Apptio solutions to track, analyze, and optimize IT costs and investments.
• Collaborate with IT, finance, and the business office to establish TBM framework aligning technology spending with objectives.
• Develop and deliver actionable insights using Apptio dashboards and reports for executive decisions on portfolios and investments.
• Data integration and quality: connect Apptio with other tools for automated data loading, cleaning, and validation.
• Drive adoption of TBM best practices and Apptio capabilities; lead training and change management; educate stakeholders on Apptio data for decision-making.
• Monitor and measure performance metrics; identify opportunities for cost optimization and ROI.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, TCO, and chargeback/showback reporting.
• Serve as liaison with IBM Apptio support for platform updates and improvements.
• Lead change initiatives to mature TBM data usage and accountability across the company.
• Stay current with industry trends and regulatory requirements; adapt TBM strategies accordingly.
