Job summary

EY is seeking a Technology Business Management Office Lead in the United States to drive the adoption and strategic use of IBM’s Apptio platform, optimizing technology investments and enabling data-driven decision-making across IT and finance teams.

You will lead TBM framework deployment, deliver actionable insights from Apptio dashboards, and act as a liaison with IBM Apptio support while championing transparency and accountability in technology financial management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Finance, Business or related discipline; master’s preferred.
• Experience in TBM, Apptio and technology financial management.

Responsibilities

• Lead the TBM Office, overseeing the deployment and ongoing management of Apptio solutions to track, analyze, and optimize IT costs and investments.
• Collaborate with IT, finance, and the business office to establish and maintain a TBM framework that drives transparency and aligns technology spending with strategic objectives.
• Develop and deliver actionable insights using Apptio dashboards and reports for executive stakeholders to inform portfolio decisions.
• Data Integration & Quality: connect Apptio with Finance, Talent, Procurement contracts for automated data loading and reporting.
• Drive adoption of TBM practices and Apptio capabilities; lead training and change management initiatives across the organization.
• Monitor and measure performance metrics; identify opportunities for cost optimization and ROI improvement.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, TCO, and chargeback/showback reporting.
