Withum is seeking a Tax Supervisor to join our team across Nashville, NY, Orlando, or Whippany. You’ll lead audit engagements, mentor staff, and cultivate strong client relationships while handling complex tax work for various entities.

Ideal candidates have a CPA or progress toward it, 4+ years in public accounting, and strong communication and leadership abilities to drive quality service and tax planning opportunities for clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and CPA licensure or in progress.
• 4+ years public accounting experience.
• Strong client service and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple engagements and projects.
• Leadership, training, and mentoring experience.
• Willingness to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead audit engagements from planning to completion and supervise staff.
• Build and maintain client relationships.
• Prepare multistate S corp. and partnership tax returns.
• Prepare high net worth individual returns.
• Review mid-level returns and complex tax matters.
• Research and draft memos on complex tax matters.
• Identify tax planning opportunities.
