WithumSmith+Brown, PC is seeking a Tax Supervisor to lead tax engagements across multiple entities, including C corp, S corp, and partnerships. This role emphasizes supervision of staff, tax return preparation, and proactive client service in a hybrid environment.

Ideal candidates bring CPA progression, 4+ years in public accounting, strong communication, and the ability to travel as needed. The position offers an opportunity to mentor staff and collaborate with senior leadership across offices.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
• Licensed CPA, or working towards CPA certification
• Masters of Science in Taxation is preferred but not required
• At least 4 years of public accounting experience
• Exceptional client service and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain outstanding client relationships
• Ability to manage multiple engagements and competing projects
• Strong leadership, training, and mentoring skills, coupled with excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills to represent the Firm well to client’s management
• Ability to travel as needed

Responsabilidades

• Preparing complex C corp., S corp. and partnership income tax returns
• Preparing high net worth individual returns
• Reviewing mid-level complexity C corp., S corp. and partnership income tax returns
• Reviewing mid-level complexity individual returns
• Researching and drafting memorandum involving complex tax matters
• Identifying tax planning opportunities
• Handling and resolve tax controversies
• Training and supervision of staff accountants
