Withum is seeking a Senior Tax Manager/ Senior Manager to join its Tax Services Group, based in California or in select offices nationwide. You will lead complex tax engagements, guide strategic planning for clients, and work with experienced CPAs and industry leaders.

Path to Partnership is available for high performers. Expected to oversee multiple engagements, develop client relationships, and provide tax planning across federal, state, and international regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting and CPA license or Master of Science in Taxation
• 8+ years of experience in a public accounting tax department and leading multiple engagements
• Excellent analytical and technical tax skills

Responsabilités

• Review complex C corp., S corp. and partnership income tax returns
• Strategic planning for clients including advising on federal and state compliance issues
• Managing multiple engagements concurrently with various teams to meet client deadlines
• Identifying tax planning opportunities
• Mentoring and counsel discussions with team members
• Participating as an instructor or discussion leader in professional development programs
• Seeking and developing new clients/business
