Job summary

BDO USA seeks a Tax Senior, Digital Tax Solutions, to collaborate with clients and teams to implement tax automation tools. You’ll engage in engagements from scope and design through deployment, training, and documentation, with opportunities to work remotely and travel as needed.

The role emphasizes understanding tax processes, data challenges, and technology solutions, while contributing to internal standards and client service excellence across the firm.

Qualifications

• Two (2) or more years of experience with technology or tax systems.
• ASC 740 tax accounting, consulting, or income tax compliance, preferred
• CPA certification, preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, required

Responsibilities

• Learn client tax function end-to-end and identify automation opportunities
• Assist in planning, scoping, design, build, test, and deployment of tax automation projects
• Collaborate with Tax AI leadership and client teams to deliver solutions
• Support training and documentation during client hand-off
• Travel 10–25% as needed
• Engage in ongoing maintenance and post-implementation support
