Job summary

BDO USA is seeking a Tax Senior, Digital Tax Solutions, to work within the Digital Tax Solutions team in the United States. The role focuses on applying industry knowledge and experience to implement tax automation tools and collaborate with clients and teams for end-to-end automation projects.

The position involves networking within the firm and with clients, supporting engagements from scoping to deployment, and offering training and documentation during hand-off.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of experience with technology or tax systems
• ASC 740 tax accounting, consulting, or income tax compliance preferred
• CPA certification preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; advanced Excel skills preferred
• Experience with tax data, processes, technologies, and applications

Responsibilities

• Understand client tax functions and develop strategies aligned with business objectives
• Participate in planning, delivery meetings, and workshops; support proposal delivery
• Draft client requirements and data requests; review workpapers and processes
• Identify enhancements to tax processes, technology, and data challenges
• Assist in establishing internal standards and procedures for the practice
• Assist with project setup, billing exposure, and project economics; ensure timely delivery
• Support clients post-implementation and provide training and documentation
• Travel 10–25% as required by engagements
