We are actively hiring for a newly created Tax Senior Associate / Tax Senior Accountant for our growing CPA firm client with whom we have a longstanding, excellent relationship. The firm offers a laid-back culture, working mostly 4 days per week after the busy season. You will report directly to the firm's Tax Manager and mentor, review, and oversee all tax preparation work by Tax Staff & Associates (10-15). The firm currently employs remote workers.

Tax Seniors, Tax Associates, Tax Staff, and Tax Accountants are encouraged to apply. Compensation is based on experience.

The firm is a leading Washington-based accounting and consulting firm established in 1954, providing a broad spectrum of tax and advisory services. They are seeking a career-minded TAX Manager with over 4 years of public accounting experience. There are immediate opportunities for partnership, growth, and development. The firm offers promotions and raises twice a year. Tax Seniors may work fully remote; otherwise, there are four offices in eastern WA with work-from-home options. Responsibilities for the Tax Senior Associate / Tax Accountant

1. Report directly to the Firm's Tax Manager.
2. Review work of Tax Staff & Associates.
3. Manage project deadlines and coordinate with team members.
4. Review individual and business tax returns, providing feedback.
5. Stay current on tax law changes and best practices.
6. Participate in process improvement initiatives.
7. Engage in practice development and firm activities.

Qualifications

1. CPA or in progress—firm covers CPA study materials and exam costs.
2. At least 2 years of public accounting experience preparing and reviewing tax returns.
