We are actively hiring for a newly created Tax Senior Associate / Tax Senior Accountant position at our growing CPA firm client with which we have a longstanding, excellent relationship. The firm boasts a laid-back culture, with most employees working four days per week after the busy season. You will report directly to the firm's Tax Manager and will mentor, review, and oversee all tax preparation work of the Tax Staff & Associates (10-15). Currently, the firm has remote employees.

Tax Seniors, Tax Associates, Tax Staff, and Tax Accountants are encouraged to apply. Compensation is based on experience.

This leading Washington-based accounting and consulting firm has been in operation since [Year]. Tax Seniors may work fully remotely or from one of four offices in eastern Washington, which also support work-from-home arrangements. Responsibilities for the Tax Senior Associate / Tax Senior Accountant

1. Report directly to the Firm's Tax Manager.
2. Review the work of all Tax Staff & Associates.
3. Manage project deadlines and coordinate with team members.
4. Oversee all phases of tax engagement with the team.
5. Review individual and business tax returns, providing timely feedback.
6. Stay current on tax law changes and best practices.
7. Participate in process improvements and firm activities.

Qualifications

1. CPA certification or in progress; the firm supports study materials and exam costs.
2. At least 2 years of public accounting experience in preparing and reviewing individual and business taxes.
