Job summary

CohnReznick is hiring a Resource Management, Senior Specialist (Tax) to optimize talent deployment across advisory, assurance and tax. You will monitor utilization, approve requests, and drive data-driven staffing decisions in a hybrid environment.

The role demands 3+ years in tax or assurance resource management, strong Excel skills, and excellent communication. Located in the Northeast US with potential travel.

Qualifications

• 4-year undergrad degree in Business Management/Administration or 4-year undergrad degree in accounting or finance.
• Minimum of 3 years of Tax or Assurance resource management or workforce planning experience.
• Proven ability to translate resource planning into assignments and leadership decisions.
• Strong Excel skills including pivot tables, macros, and analytics via pivot charts.

Responsibilities

• Monitor utilization against plans for 75+ professionals across advisory, assurance and tax.
• Approve resource requests and PTO in RM technology tool; track tasks.
• Understand specialization requirements, timing constraints, staffing continuity and geography.
• Maintain knowledge of employees' skills and development preferences.
• Deliver monthly staffing metrics to improve visibility and cross-sharing.
• Ensure workforce is planned to meet operational requirements and SLAs.
• Communicate effectively with team members and vendors; apply planning proposals.
• Oversee processes and technology, and support center of expertise.
