Job summary

Intuit is seeking TurboTax Local Service Experts to perform on-site, full-service tax preparation and advisory work at a TurboTax location in the United States. You will work closely with a team of tax professionals, serving in-person and virtual clients, and you will own client relationships from discovery to resolution.

You will grow the local client base through community outreach, events, and partnerships, while connecting clients to the broader Intuit ecosystem including bookkeeping,

Qualifications

• EA, CPA or attorney with strong tax prep experience and knowledge of tax laws preferred.
• Active PTIN required to file taxes.
• Min 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal/state 1040s per season using professional tax software; knowledge of Circular 230.
• Willing to upskill into bookkeeping, payroll, or advisory areas with training provided by Intuit.
• Comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office (8:00–17:00, Mon–Fri, 20+ hours/wk).
• Completion of required training and development as determined by business; includes compliance and cross-training.
• Willingness to wear Intuit uniforms and to use name/photo for advertising.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus; experience in holistic tax advisory is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations.
• Act as a community ambassador to grow local client base and build long-term relationships.
• Connect clients with Intuit solutions such as bookkeeping, payroll, or financial planning as appropriate.
• Build relationships and deliver a best-in-class customer experience in person and via video tools.
