Job summary

Intuit, Inc. is seeking motivated individuals to join our TurboTax Local Service Expert team.

This on-site role focuses on full-service tax return preparation, expert guidance, and connecting clients with the broader Intuit ecosystem to ensure a seamless, end-to-end service in local TurboTax locations across the United States. You will work with a team of financial experts, assist both in-person and virtual customers, and drive local growth while delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Qualifications

• Enrolled Agent, CPA, or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and knowledge of tax laws preferred.
• Active PTIN required by law to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 returns per season using professional tax software.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types (bookkeeping, payroll, advisory) with training.
• Comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax location, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, minimum 20 hours/week.
• Willing to complete all required training and development as determined by the business.
• Must wear Intuit uniforms and allow use of name/photo for advertising.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert.
• Bilingual English/Spanish communication is a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory beyond tax filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations.
• Act as a proactive community ambassador to grow the local TurboTax client base and build relationships.
• Connect clients with Intuit solutions across bookkeeping, payroll, financial planning, and advisory services.
• Build relationships to turn transactions into long-term, loyal clients.
• Deliver a best-in-class customer experience through professionalism and personalized tax guidance.
