Job summary

Intuit Inc. is seeking energetic individuals to join our TurboTax Local Service Expert team.

This on-site role focuses on full-service tax return preparation, expert tax advice, and software support, while connecting clients to a broader Intuit ecosystem of bookkeeping, payroll, and financial planning. You will grow a local client base, deliver end-to-end TurboTax experiences, and participate in community events, with a strong emphasis on client relationships and a high standard of customer

Qualifications

• EA (Enrolled Agent), CPA, or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws preferred.
• Have an active PTIN as required by law to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software. Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types or more complex work areas (e.g., bookkeeping, payroll, business tax advisory) with training provided by Intuit
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office location, primarily between 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM local time, Monday through Friday, for a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Must be willing and able to complete all required training and development as determined by the business including compliance training, up-skilling, cross-training of other products or offerings, and professional development.
• Must be willing to wear Intuit provided uniforms and allow use of name and picture for advertising on Google.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert, creating accessible tax-related content and resources for your community in accordance with Intuit’s policies.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing

Responsibilities

• Provide Tax Expertise - Give hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations.
• Be a Proactive Community Ambassador - actively build and grow a new local customer base for TurboTax.
• Champion the Full Intuit Ecosystem - connect clients with Intuit solutions such as bookkeeping, payroll, financial planning, or Credit Karma.
• Build Relationships - develop long-term trust that turns a one-time transaction into a multi-year relationship.
• Deliver a Best in Class Customer Experience - ensure exceptional service and help clients achieve financial goals through in-person and video interactions.
