Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a team member to support the tax interview process and client service. You will input client and W-2 data, assemble returns, obtain signatures, and review results with clients in a fast-paced retail tax office.

Strong reading and math skills, clear communication, and experience with Windows-based software are essential. Additional state/local requirements may apply, with a focus on accuracy and customer care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Reading and math skills required to begin and finish the tax interview.
• Ability to communicate effectively in person and on the phone.
• Previous experience with Windows-based computer programs.
• Additional state and local requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the beginning of the tax interview by entering client and W‑2 information into the tax program
• Assist with the closing of the interview by assembling the tax return, obtaining signatures, and reviewing the finished product with the client
• Complete bookkeeping procedures
• Ensure all H&R Block clients are receiving superior service
• All other duties as assigned
