Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. seeks a detail‑oriented team member to support tax interview processes and client service. You will enter client and W-2 data, help assemble returns, obtain signatures, and review results with clients.

Prior experience with Windows-based programs is helpful, and adherence to state/local requirements is expected. Strong communication and math skills are essential to succeed in this role, with responsibilities expanding to bookkeeping procedures and maintaining high service

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Reading and math skills required to begin and finish the tax return interview.
• Ability to communicate effectively in person and on the phone.
• Previous experience with Windows-based computer programs.
• Additional state and local requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Assist with entering client and W-2 information into the tax program at the start of the interview.
• Assist with closing the interview by assembling the tax return and obtaining signatures.
• Review the finished product with the client and complete bookkeeping procedures.
• Ensure all H&R Block clients are receiving superior service.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
