Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a team member to help initiate and close tax interviews, entering client data and W-2 information into our tax program.

The role includes assembling returns, obtaining signatures, reviewing outcomes with clients, and completing bookkeeping steps. The candidate should have a high school diploma or equivalent, strong reading and math skills, and the ability to communicate effectively in person and by phone.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Reading and math skills are needed to begin and finish the tax interview.
• Ability to communicate effectively in person and on the phone.
• Experience with Windows-based computer programs.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the beginning of the tax interview by entering client and W-2 information into the tax program.
• Assist with the closing of the interview by assembling the tax return, obtaining required signatures, reviewing the finished product with the client, and completing bookkeeping procedures.
• Ensure all H&R Block clients are receiving superior service.
• All other duties as assigned
