Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. is seeking an entry-level team member to assist with the tax interview process and ensure high-quality client service. You will enter W-2 data, assemble returns, obtain signatures, and review the final product with clients.

Successful candidates will demonstrate basic reading, math, and communication skills, plus familiarity with Windows-based programs. State and local requirements may apply, with duties expanding as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Reading and math skills required to begin and finish the tax return interview.
• Ability to communicate effectively in person and on the phone.
• Experience with Windows-based computer programs.
• Additional state and local requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the beginning of the tax interview by entering client and W-2 information into the tax program.
• Assist with the closing of the interview by assembling the tax return, obtaining required signatures, reviewing the finished product with the client, and completing bookkeeping procedures.
• Ensure all H&R Block clients are receiving superior service.
• All other duties as assigned.
