Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. is seeking an associate at our franchise office to assist with the tax interview process, including data entry for client and W-2 information and assembling tax returns for signatures.

You will play a key role in delivering superior service to every client during the interview and closing steps. The role requires strong reading and math skills, clear communication both in person and by phone, and familiarity with Windows-based software.

Qualifications

• Reading and math skills required to begin and finish the tax return interview.
• Ability to communicate effectively in person and on the phone.
• Previous experience with Windows-based computer programs.
• Additional state and local requirements may apply

Responsibilities

• Assist with the beginning of the tax interview by entering client and W-2 information into the tax program
• Assist with the closing of the interview by assembling the tax return, obtaining required signatures, reviewing the finished product with the client, and completing bookkeeping procedures
• Ensure all H&R Block clients are receiving superior service
• All other duties as assigned
